In D'Ulisse-Cupo v. Notre Dame High School  202 Conn. 206, 520 A.2d 217 (Conn. 1987), The school board failed to rehire a teacher despite giving representations that she would be given a new contract.  The teacher sued on a contract claim of promissory estoppel and a tort claim of negligent misrepresentation.
